I am new to the devops. currently i am trying to run make file of flux. I am getting following error

Steps performed

1. make

Getting following error make: execvp: ./docker/image-tag: Permission denied fatal: not a git repository (or any of the parent directories): .git go install ./cmd/fluxctl make: *** [/bin/fluxctl] Killed: 9

Again changed make to sudo make getting same error

I also tried the command sudo make but it also resulting same error
